Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: September 22, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, booking an appointment, submitting information, purchasing a service, or interacting with our clinic, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, subject to applicable Ontario and Canadian law.
2. Services
Clear Beauty Medical Aesthetics provides medical aesthetic and skincare services. Website information is educational and is not a substitute for an individualized consultation or medical advice. Treatment suitability is determined following appropriate assessment. We may decline, postpone, modify, or discontinue treatment where clinically appropriate or required for safety.
3. Consultations and Informed Consent
Clients must provide complete and accurate medical history, medication, allergy, and other relevant information. Treatment will not be provided without valid consent as required by law. Consent is specific to the proposed treatment and may be withdrawn in accordance with applicable law. A signed form does not replace an informed-consent discussion.
4. Appointments and Booking
Appointments may be scheduled through Jane App or by contacting the clinic. Clients must provide accurate contact details and arrive on time. Late arrival may shorten or require rescheduling of an appointment. A booking is confirmed only when confirmed by the clinic or booking system.
5. Cancellations and No-Shows
Our cancellation and missed-appointment policy will be disclosed at booking. Unless otherwise stated: clients should provide at least 48 hours’ notice; a fee may apply; and repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require a deposit or prepayment. Fees will be applied in accordance with applicable law and disclosed terms.
6. Deposits, Payments, and Refunds
Payments and deposits may be processed through Square. Deposit requirements, expiry dates, packages, and refund terms will be disclosed before purchase. Refunds will be assessed according to the applicable service terms, clinic policy, and legal requirements. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
7. Treatment Results and Risks
Results vary based on individual health, skin condition, treatment type, aftercare, and response. No specific outcome is guaranteed. Clients must follow pre- and post-treatment instructions and contact the clinic promptly regarding concerns. Treatment risks, benefits, alternatives, and expected outcomes will be discussed during informed consent.
8. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide truthful information, disclose relevant health changes, follow instructions, attend appointments responsibly, and communicate concerns promptly. Clients must not attend treatment while impaired by alcohol or substances or in a condition that may compromise safety.
9. Photographs
Photographs may be collected for clinical documentation and treatment records. Use for advertising, social media, or website promotion requires separate appropriate consent. Refusing promotional photography consent will not affect eligibility for treatment.
10. Website Content
Website text, photographs, graphics, logos, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Clear Beauty Medical Aesthetics unless otherwise stated. Content may not be copied or used commercially without written permission. We do not guarantee that website content is complete, current, or error-free.
11. Third-Party Services
Our operations may use Jane App, Square, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and communication tools. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy policies. Their use is also addressed in our Privacy Policy.
12. Electronic Communications
We may contact clients about appointments, treatment-related matters, and inquiries using provided contact details. Promotional communications will be sent in accordance with applicable consent requirements. Clients may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from inaccurate information supplied by a client, failure to follow aftercare instructions, misuse of website content, or reliance on general website information instead of individualized advice. Nothing excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Privacy
Personal information and personal health information are handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable legislation. The Privacy Policy is available on our website.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes to services, technology, practices, or law. Updated terms will be posted with a revised effective date.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable Canadian law, subject to mandatory consumer protection rights.
